Over the course of the Christmas weekend between December 24 and December 27, 2020, a total of 314 COVID-19 tests were conducted by the Ezra Long Laboratory. From these the Ministry of Health received confirmation of twenty-six new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number of cases diagnosed in country to 331. As of Monday December 21, 2020 Saint Lucia has recorded a total 287 confirmed cases of COVID-19 out of a total of 18,642 tests for the virus that have been processed to date. We have a recorded a total of 243 recoveries, and 5 total COVID-19 related deaths. Currently there are 22 active cases and no critical cases in care. SAINT LUCIA RECEIVES 175 NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST RESULTS

Wednesday December 16, 2020 the Ministry of Health recorded a batch of 175 negative COVID tests. No positive cases of COVID-19 were received today. Today the Ministry of Health also received confirmation of its third COVID-19 related death. The individual is an 83 year old male from the Soufriere district. He was diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus on November 22, 2020. He was being treated for other health-related conditions.
