Please be advised that in light of the rapid increase in COVID-19 infections on island and the closure of non-essential services, the St. Lucia Blind Welfare Association/ Eye Care St. Lucia Clinic will be CLOSED to the public from January 26 – February 1st 2021, in accordance with the government’s instructions.   Thanking you for your understanding. Please continue to be safe by following the protocols established by the Ministry of Health and Wellness to contain the spread of the COVID-19.

Saint Lucia confirms SARS-CoV-2 British variant in country On Sunday January 24, 2021, the Ministry of Health and Wellness received confirmation from the Caribbean Public Health Agency CARPHA of 5 cases of the SARS-Co-V-2 British variant diagnosed in country. Saint Lucia records its 10th COVID-19 related death

The Ministry of Health and Wellness today Thursday January 21, 2021 received confirmation from the Ezra Long Laboratory of thirty-seven new cases of COVID-19 from a batch of 168 COVID-19 tests.
