Saint Lucia records 41 new cases of COVID-19

Today January 14, 2021 the Ministry of Health received confirmation of forty one new cases of COVID-19. This brings the total number of cases diagnosed in country to date to 543. All of the cases are Saint Lucian nationals ranging in age from 5 years to 84 years. They are from the Castries, Vieux-Fort, Babonneau, Dennery, Anse La Raye, Micoud and Gros-Islet districts. Today Tuesday January 5, 2021 the Ministry of Health received confirmation of twenty new cases of COVID-19. This is from a batch of 219 COVID-19 tests conducted by the Ezra Long Laboratory. As of Monday December 21, 2020 Saint Lucia has recorded a total 287 confirmed cases of COVID-19 out of a total of 18,642 tests for the virus that have been processed to date. We have a recorded a total of 243 recoveries, and 5 total COVID-19 related deaths. Currently there are 22 active cases and no critical cases in care.
