“Warning” and “The Car” Capture 2025 Soca Monarch Titles

The 2025 Groovy and Power Soca Monarch competition was packed with excitement as 20 artists competed for a chance to win the 2025 Soca Monarch Title. At the end of a night filled with high-energy performances Imran Nerdy’s “Warning” and Dezral & Jardel’s “The Car” emerged victorious, walking away with the coveted titles of Groovy Soca Monarch and Power Soca Monarch respectively, and the grand prize of EC $40,000 each. The 2025 Groovy and Power Soca competition was held at the Sab, Vigie on Friday, July 11.  The exciting weekend of competition continues with the National Calypso Monarch on Saturday, 12 July, followed by the Republic Bank Panorama Competition on Sunday 13, July, and King and Queen of the Bands on Monday, 14 July.
