Visitor Schedule to the Pigeon Island National Landmark

Written by on November 6, 2020

Following careful review of the Saint Lucia National Trust (SLNT) Covid-19 Response Plan by the Ministry of Tourism, and a thorough inspection of the Pigeon Island National Landmark by both the Ministries of Health and Tourism, the Pigeon Island National Landmark has been certified in keeping with the COVID-19 (Prevention and Control) Bill, as one of the sites that foreign visitors are permitted to visit.

As such, in an effort to ensure the spread of the COVID-19 virus is curtailed, the SLNT shall be permitting foreign visitors to the Landmark on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each week. The
SLNT has informed the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA) of such, and is asking hotel establishments who are interested in having their guests visit the Landmark, to contact the SLNT at 452-5005 or businessandevents@slunatrust.org to make the necessary booking on the days specified. Foreign visitors shall not be permitted at the Landmark on the four other days. These would include Saturday through to Tuesday. The general public is also asked to take note of the days when foreign visitors are permitted to visit the Landmark. This schedule shall be reviewed regularly and revisited if necessary, and all relevant parties shall be informed of the changes.

We look forward to the cooperation of the hotels, tourism facilities and the general public in working together with us to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in our country.
