Unicomer Steps In to Help its Customers Impacted by the Floods in the North

“We’ve Got You Covered”, is the theme of the company’s Flood Response Initiative that was unveiled today by Mr. Johnathan Johannes, Managing Director, Unicomer (Saint Lucia) Limited.
Unicomer, under its Courts brand in late 2021, revised and relaunched its Ready Finance (hire purchase) product with enhanced Credit Protection Insurance (CPI). The plan, now known as the Ready Finance Payment Protection Plan, can protect a customer’s purchase in the event of natural disasters, including floods.
“With climate changes and increased rates of natural disasters, we thought it prudent as a business to revise our approach and offer customers added protection and peace of mind when making purchases through Courts Ready Finance,” explained Mr. Johannes. “So it gives me great pleasure to announce and advise qualifying customers, who may have been impacted by the recent floods, to contact us immediately for assistance with processing claims”.
Under the Courts Ready Finance PPP program, once the pre-requisites are met, the cost of the damaged goods will be processed and paid for. This alleviates some of the financial strain and burden placed on consumers after already experiencing devastation and loss. Additionally, customers willing to replace the product will be extended a special discount towards the purchase of a new item.
“These are trying and difficult times and we’re also going into the holiday season. As good corporate citizens, we wanted to do more. So in addition to helping our customers who may have been impacted, we are also offering special discounts to persons who may have lost items during the disaster and need to replace them. We’re extending up to 20% off to those individuals. Special conditions will apply,” stated Mr. Johannes.
As a part of the initiative, Unicomer (Saint Lucia) Limited will also be working with selected groups and organizations to assist deserving homes and families replace lost and damaged items. Additionally, the business will be expanding its resources to help expedite the processing of claims to bring urgent relief to persons affected.
