Dezral Captures Second Crown for the 2025 Season as Calypso King

After an extremely competitive night of calypso, Dezral has once again emerged victorious, reclaiming the title of champion at the 2025 Calypso Monarch competition. This marks his second title of the 2025 Carnival season, after securing the Power Soca crown for his hit collaboration with Jardel, “The Car”. 9 extremely talented calypsonians delivered two rounds of social and political commentary, hoping to dethrone the reigning monarch. But despite their strong performances, Dezral won over the judges earning him a triumphant return to the throne. The results for this year’s Calypso Monarch Competition are as follows:
