The city of Castries will soon be the focus of rehabilitative efforts with the announcement of the first phase of the Castries Market Redevelopment Project.
The Castries Constituencies Council has announced the commencement of the first phase of the Castries Market Redevelopment Project.
Works are scheduled to commence within the next two weeks, with a series of adjustments in operations expected to ensure a seamless transition for vendors currently plying their trade.

According to Hullingseed multiple stake holding agencies guided the establishment of plans to commence the preliminary leg of the innnitative.

Meanwhile as plans to improve the aesthetics and functionality of facilities within the city continue to unfold, efforts to maintain a sanitary environment continues to be enforced throughout the city.
On Thursday, four individuals Trevor Augustine, Lyndon Alphonse, Trevor Mathias and Joel Timothy were were charged for independent exposure, after being discovered urinating in a public space.
