Annual Caribbean Youth Conference – 2020

One Youth Advocacy Organization is urging young St Lucians to embrace opportunities to form multi sectoral solutions to local and regional issues.
The 3rd Annual Caribbean Youth Conference will be held in Saint Lucia from April 20-24, 2020 under the theme: “Harnessing the Power of Caribbean Youth through Social Innovation.”
Developed to provide a platform to youth of diverse backgrounds, the event is expected to develop sustainable solutions to issues affecting young Caribbean Nationals, while engaging leaders, and policy makers in dialogue.
Media and Communications Director for the Caribbean Youth Conference and member of coordinating body, the National Youth Council Mr. Rahiem Augustin Joseph outlined the rationale for the staging of the annual event and also addressed the expected structure of the conference, which is targeting individuals who are between the ages of 15 to 35, and must be from a Caribbean Nation.
