Philip J. Pierre received his Warrant of Appoint assigning him responsibility for the portfolios of Finance, Economic Development and the Youth Economy. Prime Minister Pierre has maintained the established tradition by assuming responsibility for the country\u2019s most important ministerial portfolios. Honourable Leslie Mondesir, who brings 21 years of experience as a practicing attorney, will serve in the Cabinet of Ministers as the chief legal advisor.<br \/>\nThe final appointment today was of Ms. Maundy A. L. Lewis who will serve as the Press Secretary to the Prime Minister. Ms. Lewis transitions from her role as Communications Officer for the Saint Lucia Labour Party and will serve as the chief spokesperson to the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n<p>It is expected that the other Cabinet Ministers will be sworn in at a live streamed ceremony to take place at Mindoo Philip Park next Thursday August 5th.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister, Hon.
