Washington\nBeef is recalling the products, after it learned \u201cextraneous\nmaterials\u201d could be comingled with the beef, said the Department of\nAgriculture\u2019s Food Safety and Inspection Service over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nnewly recalled beef was produced on Dec. 27 and has a \u201cuse or\nfreeze by\u201d date of Jan. 20, 2019. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nrecall comes after 2018\u2019s JBS Tolleson beef recall, which was well\nover 5 million pounds of beef, due to salmonella fears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In\nNovember, the company also recalled 99,260 pounds of ground beef\nbecause of possible E. coli contamination. Competitor Cargill,\nmeanwhile, was forced to twice recall meats last year, once in August\nand again in September.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
