\nOn\nSaturday March 09th,\n2019, Saint Lucian women will join thousands of women around the\nworld who will be celebrating International Women\u2019s Day with Vital\nVoices\nGlobal Partnership Network through their signature event \u2013 Global\nMentoring Walk. International Women\u2019s Day is a global celebration\nof the social, economic, cultural and political contributions of\nwomen around the world. International Women\u2019s Day serves as a\ncall to action to close the gap between progress and potential, in\norder to accelerate gender parity globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nCelestial\nSelf Development Centre will once again serve as local flag bearers\nfor this global event for the fifth time. The walk is designed to\nbring together established women leaders and emerging women leaders\nto provide mentorship, guidance and support that will empower\nemerging women leaders to succeed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nThe\nwalk serves an opportunity to highlight the importance of women\u2019s\nleadership, and to accelerate the impact of future women leaders\nthrough mentoring. The benefits of women\u2019s mentorship are numerous.\nIt establishes camaraderie, creates gender-friendly environments,\npromotes a stronger environment for women\u2019s success, and expands\nhorizons for further personal growth as persons explore innovative\nleadership strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nWe\ninvite interested women leaders and emerging women leaders to COME\nPAY IT FORWARD! by registering as Mentors and Mentees for this global\nevent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nThis\nevent has always been non-for-profit and sponsored. As employee\nengagement becomes more and more important in organisations, we\ninvite companies to show their support and appreciation for women\nleaders in their organisation and in Saint Lucia by not only\nencouraging female employees to register, but by also sponsoring the\nevent in part or in full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
