The subject of regulation of parking within the city streets presented points for extended dialogue within the house of assembly, throughout the today’s senate sitting.
Parking within the city of Castries will soon come at a cost to motorists.
The Announcement formed part of comments delivered by Minister with responsibility for home affairs Hon Hermanguild Francis while addressing members of the senate within the house of assembly. Speaking on the expected method of regulation, Minister Francis referenced the implementation of parking meters.
Opposition Senator Joachim Henry weighing in on the announcement made, expressed concern with the plans to implement regulations on parking within the city, referencing residential locations within the city circuit.
Mr Henry further outlined the need for a comprehensive plan in establishing an effective system of Parking Management.
