Closure of Pigeon Island National Landmark

Closure of Pigeon Island National Landmark and Maria Island Interpretation Centre
The Saint Lucia National Trust (SLNT) has been carefully monitoring the number of cases of Covid-19 on island and like everyone else, is concerned about the rapid increase in the number of cases, as well as the confirmation of the Delta variant on island. As part of our Covid-19 certification, the SLNT carries out regular sanitization throughout the day at both Pigeon Island National Landmark (PINL) and Maria Island Interpretation Centre (MIIC). However, given the number of persons, both resident and international that visit our sites and recognizing the aggressive nature of the Delta variant, the SLNT has thought it prudent to undertake a deep clean of both of these sites, including our head office. As such, both PINL and MIIC will be closed on Tuesday, September 7 and Wednesday, September 8, 2021. During this period, the SLNT can be contacted at advocacy@slunatrust.org.
The SLNT apologizes for any inconvenience that this may cause our patrons and members and wishes to thank them for their continued support during these challenging times.
