On Thursday, May 18th, 2017, about 12:20 a.m., Police attached to the Marchand Police Station received a report of a shooting incident which occurred at Maynard Hill, Castries.

Reports indicate that about midnight on Wednesday, 17th May, 2017, 25 year old Shervon Joseph aka ‘Lean Back’ of Maynard Hill, Castries, along with a female companion were travelling on board a vehicle. As they proceeded uphill along the Maynard Hill Road, three individuals opened fire on the vehicle and occupants.

Saint Lucia to Host Four Day Training Workshop on Rapid Syphilis and Rapid HIV

The status of people living with HIV and Syphillis is set to improve, thanks to a three year grant fund to the OECS Commission.

As part of that program the Caribbean Med Labs Foundation in collaboration with the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) has been involved with the training of people who will take on the role of trainers in each of the OECS countries.

Renewed calls for assistance are being made on behalf of Anse La Raye Residents regarding the contamination of a main water catchment area in the village.
