New Details Released on Multi Million Dollar Project Earmarked for Vieux Fort
The details of an agreement with Chinese developer Desert Star Holdings regarding a multi million dollar project earmarked for Vieux Fort continues to fuel contention between the government and the opposition.

Amendments have been made to the original plan by the Allen Chastanet government—a move that the Opposition St Lucia Labour Party says highly favours the developer and is bad for St Lucia.

Police News
A post mortem conducted on the body of Anthony Cherubin, has revealed that he died of hemorrhagic shock secondary to blunt force trauma to the abdomen and chest, with lacerations to the liver and right lung.

The forty nine (49) year old resident of Ravine Macock, Monchy, was the driver of an omnibus that was hit by an ambulance in Choc last Saturday.

St. Lucia to Face New Litigation Suit
St Lucia is set to face another round of litigation in a case being brought by Jack Grynberg’s RSM Corporation over an oil exploration agreement.

This has been confirmed by the Senior Communications Officer in the Prime Minister’s Office, Nicole Mc Donald who noted that while the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) had thrown out the case, Jack Grynberg is filing an appeal.
