Local Charged with Murder

A Morne du Don man identified as Lester Daniel has been charged with murder in connection with the discovery of a body at Caye Mange last week.

The 39 year old was held by the police shortly after the body of 27 year old Ike Ephraim was found in a drain at Caye Mange.

Artistes Selected for the Semi Finals and Finals of the Calypso and Soca Competitions have been Named

Artistes who have successfully advanced to the Semi Finals and Finals of the Calypso and Soca Competitions have been named.

According to Marketing and sponsorship officer at Events St Lucia Leila Williams, this past weekend saw the culmination of the Calypso Quarter Final competitions among the South, Ambassadors Calypso Tent and the TOT Village. All tents presented a fantastic showing with patrons commenting on the high standard and quality of the songs presented in 2017.
