Protestors Demand Resignation of the Leader of Government Business Dr. Ubaldus Raymond
A small group of protesters converged on Parliament today ahead of the Senate sitting, demanding the resignation of the Leader of Government Business Dr Ubaldus Raymond.

Dr Raymond has been at the centre of a sex scandal with a former student of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.

St. Lucia Vendors and Dry Goods Association Replies on Issue of Illegal Connections
The President of the St Lucia Vendors and Dry Goods Association has shot back at the Chairman of the Castries Constituencies Council following an appeal against the illegal tapping of electricity.

In a statement released on Monday Peterson Francis noted that the CCC had every reason to believe claims that certain tenants were stealing electricity. He described that act as very disappointing and urged retailers operating from the Vendors arcade to desist from the practice.

 Specialty Caribbean EXPO 2017 Opens this Month
The Daren Sammy Cricket ground is abuzz with activity in the lead up to the opening of the Specialty Caribbean EXPO 2017 (SCE 2017).

The event is expected to bring together exhibitors from the OECS and Martinique on one platform to display goods and services available in the sub-region. A number of buyers from the wider Caribbean, Canada and latin America have been invited to attend the event which is slated for early March.
