Local Reggae Artiste Donates to Children in Need

Internationally renowned St. Lucian reggae artiste and humanitarian Taj Weekes donated over 200 pairs of athletic shoes to children in need in St. Lucia. 

The donation which was coordinated through Mr. Weekes’ children’s charity, They Often Cry Outreach (TOCO) was facilitated by the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in New York.

Festival La Rose is Ready to Roll

The Cultural Development Foundation, on Thursday August 1st, released Saint Lucia’s official 2013 La Rose Festival Month of Events Calendar. The calendar lists the various events being held in communities around the island in the month of August to celebrate the La Rose Flower Festival.

STEP Employs 2,325 Persons

Another cycle of the Short Term Employment Programme (STEP) commenced on Monday, this week, in all seventeen constituencies here.

For one week, two thousand, three hundred and twenty five (2,325) persons will engage in beautification and de-bushing works in communities around the island.
