Police Investigate Suspected Drowning

One man is currently in police custody assisting with investigations into a suspected drowning.

Police say the incident occurred on Saturday 21, December 2013 about 2:30 p.m. when officers attached to the Vieux Fort Police Station responded to a report of a suspected drowning at the Dengue, Vieux Fort.

52 Yr Old Man Arrested and Charged for Murder

A 52 year old man of New Village has been arrested and charged for the murder of one man in Castries. Police say Brandon Thomas also known as “Jock” occurred on December 13th about 8:30 on Jeremie Street Castries.

The man accused of the killing has been remanded into custody at the Bordelais Correctional Facility and is expected to make his first appearance in court on Monday December 23rd.
