Staff at state owned Radio St Lucia continue to be in limbo about the future of the jobs as government drags its feet on any conclusive action for the media house.

A meeting held with staff and the Union representatives on Monday yielded no favourable update on the situation which CSA General Secretary Claude Paul has described as unacceptable.

In addition to the non payment of staff, Paul says telephone access both in and out of the business house has been barred, making the situation untenable.

Paul says the CSA has made several failed attempts to get an audience with the Minister for Broadcasting, however he continues to make statements in the press.

Meanwhile Paul would not comment on whether staff have been reporting to work.
