The issue of morality continues to remain a hot topic here especially in the absence of a resignation from Dr Ubaldus Raymond.
The Minister in the Ministry of finance has been embroiled in a sex scandal with a teenage student who is now facing blackmail charges.
Despite a statement from Prime Minister Allen Chastanet on the matter, several local groups and individuals continue to call for the Minister to step down, over what they see as immoral and unethical behaviour.
Among them is the former Public Relations Officer on the Iyanola Council for the advancement of Rastafari Aaron Alexander. He believes that any public official who creates unnecessary distraction for the government must demit office.
Alexander has also blasted the cabinet of ministers over their silence on the issue
Alexander supports the teachings of the church which highlight moral standards.
